Yes it is a mess in
Innisfail.
This kind of comment amuses me slightly though- "She says in the meantime growers are missing out on prices as high as $110 a box, after cyclone Larry devastated
Innisfail and surrounding areas."
As though it were possible to take advantage!
The very reason they are $110 a box is BECAUSE they can't get bananas to market. So as soon as they can the price will drop. Or is my economics understanding skewed?

I've been there almost every week since it happened, and it is a horrible shocking mess. The damage at
Mourilyan is just astounding, the rainforest damage between Mirriwinni and
Mourilyan will take a lifetime to recover if it ever does. As for the housing damage it is horrible.
