Just wondering if you are still on line and how you went with your cracked diff?

Scott,
I am going to wait a few weeks until I can take the vehicle off the road for a few days. I still need it to get to my other job. I will then take the diff housing off the vehicle and weld it on the work bench. I was thinking of putting steel plates over the cracks rather than trying to weld the cracks.
I think that a plate will weld to the diff housing better that tyring to weld a crack that has diff oil in it. It should also give it more strength over the crack.
I will let you know how it goes.
Wayne

Sounds like the go.
So long as you don't get
young Matty that works for me to plate it. If you do the truck will weigh another ton just from the stell plates he puts in.
He fixed the broom in the workshop on Friday and now nobody can lift it.
See ya when you get your pink slip.
BTW I am now LPG authorised if you here of anybody looking for a gas rego. They are hard to find as the RTA hasn't run a course in 8 years but they have just starting so I made
hay while the sun shone.
Will talk later
