18 years ago it wasn't much then.

Im expecting at each hut soon, wheelchair access, and access for the bus to get them in, spa's, electicity to all sites, gas stoves, fire pits, McD/Pizzahut/Hungrys/KFRC etc etc per hut.. and a boom
gate and 8kph speed signs

Darn, I was going to start high country sex orgy tours, good driving during the day and good entertainment at a different hut each night but with all these amenities going in there's bound to be a daily planet planned as
well. oh
well have to make a motza some other way.....

So many huts through there,,, but i believe in March when we were there it was only a frame going up..
I am struggling to remember which is which,,, if its a high altitude hut with the camp site on the other side of the track with an old corral then it is the one i am thinking of..

I have watched the fall and very slow rise of Lovicks Hut.
There are a few, maybe 10 poles in the ground now, there were only 8 a month ago. Very slow. With winter coming on I don't there will be much more construction until summer.
The dunny is working and there is a good camping spot there but that is about it.

I think that the tracks are closed some time in June.
Might want to check with Vic Nat Parks before the trip.
