Just for those interested there is a 6.2L motor going in queensland. 5 days left, currently bid $1000.

I know the 6.5 is now considered the weapon of choice but a nice 6.2 would still pull the skin off more custards than most donks cruising the dusty tracks.

ZUKSCOOTERX90 - Is it fitted to a non Ford? If so, what vehicle, and was it fitted professionally or by yourself, and where did you purchase it? Thanks, Motherhen

Ummm, yeah, I would be very careful, a bloke I know west of here went to buy the 1hz this buyer also had up for auction, in short he could have got it for $1500 but the seller was bidding under an alias & it got to $2750, he smelt a rat (after he won the auction) when the bank account details had the same name as the other bidder (Thats just dumb)
needless to say the seller was reported to e-bay & my mate is not paying...
this only happened today so I don't think the seller has any idea (Unless he reads this post) he may be in for suspention or a fine from e-bay...
there are some do-ers in the world......

Agreed Truckster, the 6.2 in my troopie burns 14L/100km around town, very consistendly. Perhaps 13L/100k on long country runs,of which I done few without towing my 2.5t boat, when the beast swallows close to 20L/100km.

Mine got around the 14 mark too, but was a 6.5. HJ75 was a lighter vehicle which may have something to do with it.

The best I've got out of my Troopy (6.5 Chevy) with an all up weight of 3.5 tonne is 13.5L/100km & the worst is 17.2L/100km over a period of 72,000 km travel.
