Anyone got any experience with the "no-name" snow chains from the seller in this auction?

Note two types are pictured - I contacted the seller, the diamond pattern 4WD style were about $160 for the tyre size I enquired about (not the sort pictured in the plastic case, the sort shown mounted on the tyre).

Got 2 pair of those type , 1 for 235/85/16 and another for 255/85/16 size tyres.

The are same chinese imports that aussie disposals etc have.

They are lightweight and work well , can turn at into better than mt's and have
got me out of situations that the twin lockers can't so I'm a fan.

Not as strong as heavier units though, but generally fairly easy to fit.

Being lightweight they don't do that much for mt tyre's as chain half dissappears into tread , but the can be repaired / extend fairly easily.

Hi,
some of the best chains are the Konig brand. Used all over europe. Check them out. A weak chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Too bad when chinese steel is notoriously poor quality, heat treatment, too soft, too hard, brittle etc. Would not trust cheap chains. As they say, I am not rich enough to buy cheap things...
Just my opinion
