Just recieved a letter today stating that Tread lightly is closing down.
It will eventually merge with a group called Leave No Trace, apparently they share simular values etc.
The seven princiiples of LNT are
Plan ahead and prepare
Travel and
camp on durable surfaces
Dispose of waste properly
Leave what you find
Minimise campfire impacts
Respect wildlife
Be considerate of your host and other visitors
Lets hope they do a good job like Tread Lightly did on keeping tracks open and clean and promoting a good name for 4W Drivng

This looks to me to be only for promoting walking only,in Nat parks and state parks? no mention of 4wd and a Yanky thing to boot!!!!
