The Travellingblooms are off in 3 weeks for our 7 month trip around Australia.
It has been months in the planning and I would like to thank everone who has responded to my posts on caravan questions.
We have a Galaxy
Southern Cross Family Van (brand new) with shower,
toilet, bunks for the kids and all the comforts we need for the trip. (Van will be for sale at the end of the trip if anyone is interested). Towing it with a Landcruiser.
This will be a life experience for us and especially for our 2 kids. Looking forward to seeing our country and meeting lots of decent people along the way.
7 months off work, precious time with my family, we do live in "the lucky country". :-)

Hi there,
Good on you to get away,
we are retired but the kids & grandkids seem to prevent us from getting away with all their problems & getting married & having more offspring & all that...however at last we are leaving on the 23rd May (soon) from Wallacia (Penrith area) NSW & will be at ULURU on 5th June & meet up with a brother of
mine till the 23rd June at
Darwin (they are doing a fly-drive..Alice to
Darwin) & then we head for WA /
Broome /
Perth etc etc with no time table except to be back
home by mid- September this year.
Maybe we will cross paths so don't forget to wave at every Bronze coloured Nissan Patrol Towing a big Roadstar Van.
Good Luck
Don & Eveline.
