Do you need to change anything else in the
suspension if I put a 2 inch lift on my cruiser. Lovells "highly recommend" fitting thier castor correction kit and adjustable panhard kit for front and rear.
Is this absolutely necessary or just a way of maximising
suspension travel??
I've heard that many different opinions on what you have to do or don't have to do with this size
suspension lift that I'm totally confused. Some say that it will wonder all over the road without the castor correction kit....is this correct???

Ive got a 105s with 2" lift no castor correction and it drives great, after I fited lift I did not notice any difference in handeling at all, put the lift in and see how it drives if your not happy then look at castor, you wont need adjustable panhards with 2" lift.

I think any thing over a three inch lift you start having to do a few other mods, two inches would be fine as is.Im going to do a three inch lift on ours soon so we'll see what happens.

Thats what I'd thought but when I read the recommendation from Lovells saying to do it I thought it must be needed. That's good news - I can keep some money in the beer fund. Thanks Nick.

Had 4" lift on the back and 2" on the front of my 105. Tried it on the dirt and it was like riding a
brumby bareback. Fitted the caster kit and she now behaves.
Try it first.

The ARB bloke who did
mine said that they'd fit the supsension first, and if it needed it fit the caster correction kit after I'd driven it for 500kms or so. See how she feels when you get her back from the workshop.

Thanks Ando, I'll be fitting them this week and as you said see how it handles before doing anything else.
