can someone let me know of any great 4x4 and river side camping spots around the two hour break from
brisbane

Check out the Members Gatherings page and there is one on this weekend up at Imbil. Camping & 4WDing withing 2 hours of Brissy and you'll meet plenty of top people. Otherwise I like Landcruiser Park as
well!

It is hard to invite visitors at this site personally without an email address. Members are easily notified through the Member Message board but not so easy for visitors. You can either look at the above mentioned gathering and send me an email as my email address is there or keep an eye out for more gatherings as we have been doing plenty of trips this year so far.
I will not play games with excessive emails ect just notify you when I am involved in organising something.
