Is a troopy roof same size as patrol GU

Still looking at roof racks and would like to know if one from a patrol GU would fit the troopy. SWMBO has my troopy today and won't be back till about 7pm and I would like to know sooner than that. thanks Bob

I guess you really need a definative answer but I am PRETTY confident that the answer would be no. The troopy has a significant amount of roof still above the gutters wheras the GU only has a small amount so unless the racks on the GU had a lot of clearance between them and the roof, then I doubt that the rack would fit the Troopy. Try calling one of the Roof Rack
places around perhaps

Just ran the tape over my TJM roof rack
200mm from bottom of gutter to base of mesh
1450mm across between the legs, the gutters are 1450mm wide
1950mm of usable gutter on the side

Just checked a set of Rhino bars that I had on my GU, the distance between the legs is 1310 mm , so I think it would be fair to say a GU rack will not fit the troopy.

Thanks for the info, i think i might have got into trouble if i had taken my tape measure down the street and started to run it over the roof of a GU.
