Hello everybody,

I finally decided to get the TD and not the V8 model. I will go car shopping next week or the week after. What I want to get is a new

Toyota Landcruiser 100 TD manual.

I know the retail price and that there are additional charges, as usual. Now I would like to have your ideas of how much I will get it for, all costs included on road... your estimates would be appreciated.

Of course I will also check more than on dealer around Melbourne in order to get a decent price.

Cheers
Dirk

Dirk have you gone on line and see what sort of price you can get. years ago we used a broker to buy a commodore and saved 4K. There are companies (online )that will go out and get a good deal for you for a small price.

Why not actually. Whereabouts can I find you? Just let me know and I will probably pop in some time next week or give you a call first.

Dirk

Try a car brocker first if you don't want to you need to tell about three dealers across melbourne or wherever you are that you plan on buying a Landcruiser on a certain day tell them what you want and reinforce the idea that they get one shot at the price, only one, the best deal will win simple as that, my father in law got his on road over a year ago for $65,000 drive away that included all gov't charges etc. He used a car brocker no hassles easy to deal with. Car dealers will suck you in real quick if you let them.

Hope this helps.

Thank you TD,

I hope I will get a quote from a broker tomorrow... have so far read only positive post about them. We will see... at least you get a good idea of prices before you enter a car yard.
