Couple of posts ago there was a suggestion that the comp was updating too quickly, so maybe they are waiting a bit for the dust to settle.

Cheers

You most certainly can, This is BIG RED at 5Am & for your info I have pulled a 1000kg (loaded aprox) trailer across rivermouths all across OZ e.g., Bremmer Bay, Frazer Is, etc. Just let them down to 18 PSI & low range No Problems.

Hey Rox..Cngrts..You guys prove we don't have to start with a shiny new rig, then fit all the "bolt-ons" to do the "big adventure" You have done justice to the rig and the Olympus camera..Both used the way they should be..Reminds me when we were getting ready for our big
Cape York trip. Was taking our brand new Nissan Partol. My wife's family were complaining as they thought we were taking our nine year old Diahatsu diesel F-55 pick-up..They figured it would,nt make it..That hurt me as I loved the rig.."I'll show them" I thought..Got the Dia checked out..Put a new clutch in it after about 9 years/100,000kms and fitted new
Dunlop "Gripper" rags..Took the Diahatsu instead of the planned Patrol. My wife drove it all the way after
Cairns..Loved it.She went from a good driver to a great, compentent off/on road driver..I was taking videos / pix all the way..The nine year old rig was indeed one of the best in the mud on the trip..Best trip we have had so far..

Yes thats right they don't have to be shinny just mechanicaly sound enough to do the job at hand. We traveled 45,000kms around OZ towing a camper & half of that was off road.
20 years ago some one said 2 me a bit suprised that a $3k rig could go as far as a new $30k rig back then. It didn't suprise me as its 4 wheels driving not the inside luxory that counts. Don't get me wrong I would feel very uncomfortable doing what Len Beadell did with his windows up and the cabin temp 50+ This is what I can afford at present & now after adding a few things I need/ want to get there value out of them as
well. Thanks again Kevin

Hi Marion, Tah! Guess you mean where is "Long Reef Point"? On my NRMA Touring Map 4 it is pretty
well between Dee Why and Narrabeen. Surprised myself with that one... went back to comp after dinner with '14 more Points on my list'... took a stab and BINGO! Winner...winner...etc! Rapt!
