Just caught the last 10 minutes of Bush Mechanics on ABC TV. What a corker show!

Makes me a bit misty eyed actually.

When is it on?
I've never seen it advertised.
There'a also another 4WD show on community TV, channel 34 I think. I've never seen because the reception is so poor.

Monday night’s ABC (ch 2) 6.00pm In Perth anyway, Used to be on FOXTELL too.

Isn’t a 4WD show it’s basically a group of Indigenous Australians charging around the Bush in Beat up Fords and Holden’s and there is almost nothing they cant fix and when the thing finely dies leave it in the middle of the track doors open and start walking LOL

The Local Constabulary even have gest appearances to make arrests good entertaining half hour of TV, better than that Big Brother Chit and beats the chit out of most of the other programming they seem to have on nowadays.

Brad I think you might mean CH 31 its called TVS and the show is 4wd tv I think at about 7.30pm on thurs & sunday arvos its a great watch because it also shows you N/Z comps and keeps you intouch with some new tech and the guys are great that cover the show there really down to earth we camped next to them at the Tuff truck challange we were on the Maxxis stand there right into the thick of it .

and for the Bush mechs mate next time I drop a balljoint in our HZ shooting buggy Im just going to look for some fencing wire and a big long log !!!!!
and Im also going to try the remote mounted petrol pump ...you know manually operated by the passanger with a 14mm ring spanner I think there TOPS!
cant wait for the next epasode.

They should do a segment on how to fix a collapsed landcruiser IFS or a holed 3 litre nissan piston... see how they go!!

I liked it when they cut the roof off and made it into a trailer for the bands equipment

I bought the dvd's at the ABC shop on a trip to the big village down the road (Brisvegas ) a few years ago.
Get this.............they put it in the documentaries section..............Had me stumped, I was looking in the comedy section...
Reminds me of the years I spent on Cape york.....Definately not a Doco...more a comedy to me.
