I live in the southwest of WA. Planning a trip later in the year to Townsville.
I will be away for about 4 months but only need a van for about 10 days getting there and 10 days getting back and don't want to pay $200 plus per week, to hire a van that will just sit at a house in townsville for 3 months when I get there. Something that sleeps 4 (and a bub)
Any suggestions??? anyone know of where I can get a decent van for about $100 a week.
If anyone is interested in pocketing a grand or so for a van not being used, let me know.

Andrew, I asked 2 people who have them and no go. Have you thought of 6x4 garden trailer & tent /swags, I supose that you need more room in 4wd with 2+3kids. I looks like you will be on the move alot to get there in 10 days so swags in good weather is very quick to set up/down. All the best Rox.

I wouldn't mind the trailer idea but Mrs is after a few little luxuries. I don't blame her especially with the little fella (18months)
10 days was just a guestimate... if it takes me 3 weeks I don't care.
