Cannt open the point place info

you computer dudes could help me..
Thought Id down load some point place info and when the email came through i tried to open the attatchment (
bore track info) and it comes up saying that "works cannt open file...yad yada yada..."
well not the yada bit but you get my drift....
is there anyway of opening it in another file - it doesnt give me the option too .... its just word processor......
Its the same with the other ones ive downloaded too....
Any help for a technological-not-know-it-all..

The problem is caused by MS Works word processor files and OziExplorer waypoint files having the same file extension.
Instead of double clicking on the attachment, try saving it to your OziExplorer data folder and loading it from within Ozi.
If you don't use OziExplorer, you will have to convert the waypoint file to a format that your GPS/mapping software does use.
If you don't already have it, download a copy of GPS Babel to do the conversion. Alternatively a web based conversion tool based on GPS Babel can be found at GPS Australia.
