Long range tanks

I've been hearing a lot of negative talk about Durns Davis long range tanks. I have just fitted a Goannawhere 140L under belly tank to my 2005 Navara. & have since then people have told me that they crack & are made buy BD Can any anyone confirm or deny.

Been told same thing by 4wd supplier in
geelong Dennis - Gee maybe I told you.
Just make sure it has some flex in one mounting point to accomodate chassis
twist before you go on any long trips.

Had the problem with the standard tank in the pajero. Small splits on the folds when full and running over corrugations.
Put in a long range tank, longranger I think, and it has done about 400,000k, now in the 2nd vehicle.
Just had to pull it out this year to fix it up since it had started to get some surface rust on the inside.
It is mounted on the stock mounts with 2 bolts spread wide at the front and 2 bolts close together at the back. That way it doesn't get any chassis flex affecting it.
Have seen some after market tanks crack at the welds, but it seems to be a poor assembly and is usually replaced under warranty.
