I am wanting information on where to get a new or second hand tray back camper for a ute. It should go on an extraCab tray length, be light, seal well (against mice and rain) and removable. We have all of the other camping needs such as stove, lights etc. If we could use it as an emergency sleeping unit all the better.

Hi Com

We have the Candy Canvas (SA) unit and in our opinion it is great! Best go to thier site and look at them.
Trayon (made on the Sunshine Coast in QLD) make a great unit but their setup did not suit us at that time. Also they are 3 times the cost and slightly heavier than Candy version.
Heaslip (SA) also make a good unit, don't know the dry weight ratio though.

Hi Chrissta

I found my second hand Trayon in the on-line trading Post. As New and saved $10000 as well. Could not be happier with the deal or the Trayon.

Cheers
