Anybody out there got any updates as to when this beast is going hit our shores?? Also any update on the 4.4litre TD V8. Sounds good and may even change my
views on the LR Disco 3. Although, the news of a 3.6 litre TD V8 TD based on the V6 sounds interesting. 200kW and 620NM @ 1800rpm!!!!

It must be soon as Toyota is hammering the adds on tv for the cruiser and the prado and how good a deal they are offering. The only time they do that is when they want their stock to run out.

I have heard 2nd quarter 2007. Dont know how accurate this is though. It did come from a toyota dealer, but I woulndt hold mt breath.

Like ive said previosly on this topic. The wagon cruiser will have a 5 litre V8 diesel twin turbo and intercooled. The cab=chass will have the same engine but only one turbo and no intercooling.
Thats from toyota engineers who have seen the car and driven it. Tremendous torque apparently and will take the torque fight right up to the F-series.
