Steve
Does anybody know if SBS is available (without expensive sat dishes etc) in
St George,
Charleville,
Longreach,
Thargomindah etc or thereabouts? Or is there an info website? I have Googled without any success.

Most of the
places you talk about I have been and have had SBS,ABC,Imparga, ok so you can most likely watch the Soccer or all the Brawls.

Cheers mate, hope so.
I've managed to establish that there is a reception in
Charleville, but we'll probably
camp on the river, 30 ks out. I suppose I can always head in towards town with TV in tow.

I suppose the one I'm most bothered about is the Noccundra area. We'll probably spend a few nights there. Apparently there is a licence for the area (given as "Bollon". Don't know if that coverage will reach Noccundra and I don't fancy a 150 km schlepp up the road to
Bollon to get a reception. I'll just have to pester them at the Pub in Noccundra.
