MU's rock!! They are truly tuff little trucks!!

You have all the engine and running gear of a Jackeroo shoehorned into a swb rodeo! I have had mine since 97 and it has done 6 crossings of the Nullabour (Perth to Bris) and two round trips from Syd-Bris-Alice-Adel-Melb-Syd. I has been fantastic! The parts are all out there just a mix of Jack and Rodeo, with heaps of importers if you want OE. Jackeroo World in Vic can also get most Isuzu parts for at least half the cost of OE if you are searching around!

I have fitted an Airtec snorkel, Jackaroo Intercooler, Pedders suspension, ARB deluxe with Warn winch! All match with little or no mods!

Hi Matt, Thanks for the reply.From what you have told me you know more about MU's than any other site I've been able to find. Just a couple of questions, the Airtec snorkel, which modle and how hard to fit? Two the intercooler, has it made much of a difference and what was the coast? I've all ready blowen a turbo, does not have a timer and I think the little Japanese fellow was turning her off to soon. Anyway I now have a turbo off the 2.8 instead of the 3.1 we've opened the waste gate and now Iam running about 8lb boost., had her on the dyno and she ok, thanks again for getting back to me, hope to hear from you soon, Bruce

What was the lift you got out of your pedders suspension - what sort of money and what size tyres are you running?

Have you still got yours and did you have any issues with yours about insurance or reliability?
