Anybody going over to
Alice Springs for the Finke race. We leave on the 3rd of June and head through the middle from
Perth on the
Great Central Road, then on the way
home we are doing part of the Connie Sue and the Anne Beadell should be fun.
The race is a greats pectacle and this will be my fifth trip over we are crewing for some guys from here they are racing an American built Porter Buggy which is running an LS2 chev it is awsome.
Maybe see some of you over there.

Sorry Steve , most people who follow the sport would know when the Finke was on but here are the dates for you.
Scrutineering: Friday the 9th of June
Prologue:Saturday the 10th of June
Day one Alice to Finke: Sunday the 11th of June
Day two Finke to Alice: Monday the 12th of June
They have had in excess of 360 bikes and quads enter and 85 cars will be a fantastic race.

I'll be there. Leaving next Saturday from Bris. Down thru
Broken hill and
flinders ranges. Will spend a day or 2 around ularu then camping along the track somewhere. Cant wait 4th visit for the race. Best weekend of the year.
Will be heading
home via the sandover to Mt isa.

Yeh, have fun!!
This will be the first Finke Ive missed in 17 years. Decided we would head West out of town (Alice ) this year for something different. Now Im starting to wonder weather I ve made the right choice!

Yes going to the Finke races. but more interested in your trip on the Anne Beadell have just arranged permits for a trip in August doing the Anne Beadell to
Laverton, Central Hwy ,David
Carnegie,
Eagle Hwy ,part of the Canning, turning off to Wapet and on to
Marble Bar.
