V8 Landcruiser on LPG ?

Has anyone done this to new ones. toyota say they wont cover it under warranty. would be interested to hear from anyone who has it and any problems and how many K's you have done with it. Thanks guys.

have heard of a 100 V8 fitted with gas and did a rod out the side of
the block.
waranty denied by toyota . I think LP1 fitted the system , so best ring them and ask what went wrong

Howesy - not able to answer your question but must suggest that you consider diesel. A V8 is bad enough economy wise but add gas to the equation and you have limits on off road travel. I'm just planning a trip to outback Queensland and the number of times I've seen no LPG available on the brochures makes me sure that diesel is the way to go. Even a relatively
well known fuel stop like
Oodnadatta in SA doesn't have it. Even if you are a city 4wder with just occasional day trips in the countryt I think diesel is the way to go but if you do serious off road work in remote areas it's almost essential. Cheers.
