It has taken 12 months to find the rattle in the rear and it only happens when the window is partly down. We sourced the noise to the two rear black vents at the back of the cab. Toyota said they would need to take the tray off to replace. We didn't want that so on more investigation when the rear seat was removed in each corner near the seat blt reel under the carpet there is two plastic (not rubber) grommets that don't fit like rubber ones do and lft up and down slightly with the air pressure. So some silicone fixed the job.
Just thought i would mention this to save time if anyone else may have the same noise.

cheers.

Well at last, someone has had my problem. I had it back to the dealer who stated that it was the seat belts flapping behind the plastic moulding. Said there was nothing they could do.

I have an extra cab and have built in a storage box. To hard to take it out to find those plastic thingies so I will just put up with the noise for now until it drives me %$*&^#.

Cheers

What a pain in the ass noise. You be able to get to them from underneath, the plugs are an access to one large nut to the chassis.
