Does anyone have experience of the Michelin LTX AT's off road. I'm replacing the original Bridgestone 693 NoTerrains on my near new STR Navara and have decided either Mich. LTX ATs or BFG AT's but am concerned the Michelins won't cut it off road. I am doing high kms mainly on bitumen and understand the Michelins will provide better & longer wear, but they are only available in passenger construction for 265/70 16's, and I still want to be able to head into the high country with a capable A/T tyre.

Had a set of Michies on my troopy a couple of years back and when they put them on I said ...geeez I don't like the way they bulge at the sidewalls , Those tyres travelled a lot of dirt and stoney roads as
well as sealed road and done 152000 klm , I would have used them again but for the price , was going to be $100 a tyre more next time around , so put Mickey Thompsons on , though I did not blow one they chip to much on stones and did give the distance so gone back to BF Gs

Thanks Doug, wow good mileage, I am only going to pay $10ea more for the LTX's than the BFG's.
Nice big
orange support vehicle, I'm surprised you need any tires with that sort of back up.
