I am looking at solid steel rims to replace hilux split-rims and have identified Pajero 16X7 as a possibility. Hilux is 2000 model with 6 stud pattern. Anyone had experience with this? Are offsets OK?

I had Patrol GU rims on my Hilux, 16 X 8. Fitted fine with no fouling, but did require flares! But found them just too wide, would float on anything wet!
I replaced them with 15 X 7 Sunraysia type wheels (cheap as chips). Do a ring around for "genuine rims" and you will faint at the price, much better off with after market alloys or "white" spokes.
Cheers

Hi Roly,
The rim offset for the IFS Hilus is the same as the Pajero so you will not have a problem.

Thanks Buggerlux and Leroy.
Buggerlux, the Pajeros rims are newbys at a Toyota dealer from a swap to mags. Getting them at a good price.
Leroy, thanks for the confirmation.
This
forum is great for this type of advice.
Thanks again guys.

If it comes from Toyota must be off a Prado not a mitsubishi Pajero
if so will fit Hilux, steel wheels some dealers give them away others charge the earth.

Desert
I sold the GU rims to a mate (who has a Patrol) he wanted an extra set of rims for his muddies.
