Am travelling to
Birdsville from
Perth via The Great Central Hwy,
Oodnadatta and
Birdsville Tracks, can anyone give me a heads up on current diesel prices along these routes. Cheers Pete

FuelWatch WA lists Kalgoorlie as $1.50 - $1.55. Anyones guess as to what it is further on.

was up the
Oodnadatta track and the Stuart Highway two weeks ago and the highest we paid was 160.9 cents at a roadhouse North of
Coober Pedy. Think it was getting up there at
Leigh Creek too but we dropped the records out the door somewhere. Bugga doing that.
We had good records over distances for Moses economy too for the new exhaust system. Got figures down to 13.6 litres 100 km for a tank fill situation. Used to get 16+ most of the time but keeping the speed back is part of that. I don't think I get anywhere as bad as that now even if I maximise the exhaust flow ;-)
