I recently bought a OX winch which If you take a look at a T-max winch you will find that they are identical apart from the stickers on them.TJM offer a 2 yr warranty T-max offer only 1 yr. Also the specs between the 9500lb and the 10000lb are the same with the exception of the cable size so why pay an extra $300 when both winches are the same. (Just change cable and you have a 10000lb winch.
The 9500lb winch seems to sell for close to $1600 depending on which store you go to.
I paid $1350 I guess it pays to shop around and do some bargaining.
You have to wonder what sought of markup is on these winches.

Never heard of T-max? The OX winch was marketed as the Milemaker winch in the states as long ago as 1988. Just goes to show how long it takes before somebody picks up a good product and markets it here in OZ.

Ox and Brawn 9500 electric are both T-Max rebadged. Picked up the Brawn for just under $1300. I understand that these winches are built in China. Cheers, W
