For all the good wishes. I had a good day although it is too damn cold here. Spent the day doing things around the Art Centre for the 'boss'

Thanks to Ruth and Ian and also Beatit who found someone to translate the good wishes into Afrikaans( I am bilingual, however...lol)

Yeah, well, I am only 2 years off the OAP but still going strong after some bionic implants and looking for more adventures all the time.

So tonite I am sitting here in front of the heater having a drink of MAMPOER with all of you. It is not as strong as White Lightning(aka Rocketfuel) but it could send you to another planet very quickly

The name on the bottle 'translated' says it is HARD WOOD Mampoer(peach moonshine)

on the back is a label stating in verse that(translated);

At first it makes you bright and beautiful
Then it makes you strong
Then it makes you very clever
And then someone snots you!!!!

Drink it if you dare.........!!!

LOL

Cheers

Crikey Willem, these days the strongest drink I consume is Coca Cola. But after I've had a few, the fumes from everyone else seems to make me as happy as they are. The difference is that I don't get the hangover :)))

In my wild youth I used to mix rocketfuel. It got me into more stories than I care to tell. Sadly I developed a medical condition from it. I still have some deadly vices, but none as enjoyable.
Anyway, I'm not the one who's bi lingual. I'm straight ! :))))))))))

And Belated Best Wishes to you young fella. I've been having some excellent re-reads of some of your stories of late. Keep them coming they're great.
I realise you won't be able to read this for a couple of days until that Mampoer drains from the back of your eyelids but I hope it was worth it.
At least you won't feel the cold for a while. (or your feet or you fingers or that other spare apendage either)
All the best.

Willem,

All the best Willem, belated wishes for the other day. Trust the weather is being kind to you, albeit a little cold.

Weather glorious up here, just that lazy wind hanging around.

Regards,
Bob.

Best wishes Willem,

Us 'old fellas' feel the cold a bit so good reason to warm up with a drop of something....

Pop in when u go past I'll buy you a coffee and donut....no rocketfuel tho !!

(on second thoughts, could put an additive in the coffee)
