Afternoon all,
I have been meaning to ask this question for a while now. The electric brakes on the camper have what looks like a quick connect hose fitting attatched to the backing plate. Is this for flushing the brakes after trips where sand or mud is encounted.

Yep!
That's what its for. - Sometimes advertised as "marinised" brakes.
