Hi Neil, I have a DX 'o5 Rodeo, the vinyl covered bench is chit as you say, Opposite Lock do a Stratos
seat conversion but you are looking down the barrel of $2500 with the fitting kit, wreckers wanted $1500 for correct Rodeo buckets. I purchased a pair of bucket seats from the wreckers out of a 92 SR5 Hlux for $250, the fitting however was not straight forward as I had to fabricate metal frames to adapt the Toyota seats .Al is good now but there was a few probs to overcome. Be aware that the
seat belt buckles mount to the
seat frame not to the floor.
Regards Ken.

The 96 to 98 TF model has a completly different floor pan to the RA , the seats will not bolt straight in.

Ken,
Thanks for the information Ken. Do you know if bucket seats from any 03 -06 rodeo model will just bolt into the floor pan of the DX model. The wreckers have some seats from a crew cab for $450.
I am guessing that the bucket seats would be a standard across all models. I contacted Holden but they did not want to answer my questions for liability reasons?

Hi Neil, I am pretty shure that they will , just
check that they are out of an RA model and that you also get the
seat belt stalks [buckles] if the vehicle that the seats came out of has been in a smash the wrecker will not sell you them, you will have to buy new. It may pay you to have a look at a dual cab or space cab just to
check out the set up.
Regards Ken.

neilscott63 can you please tell me if you have had trouble with youf front diff and CV joints in your RODEO. Every body i talk to with a RA rodeo who takes them off road is breaking things on the front drive line. Your comments would be very helpfull.
Thanks
