Fellow GQ / Mav owners,

I was wondering why the front passenger seat does not go back as far as the driver's seat. It's OK when I drive, but feel that I want to be another 4 inches back when I'm in the passenger seat.

Is there any way to move it back without major mods and welding ? Is there any 'down side' to doing so ?

PS - it's a SWB 91 Maverick.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Dont get in the passangers seat!!!!!!!

could be a matter of adjusting the bolts on the slider under the seat..

the seats in my GQ go back the same distance so maybe you have some thing stuck in the runners. Col

After double checking the runners etc, I think that on the SWB the passenger seat is set forward to allow maximum space for people to get in the back (when the seat is 'folded' forward - remember it's a two door).
