Hi gang, seeking information for the out-laws who are heading to the Simpson soon and want to hire a satphone so they can rub it in while they're away.....

We offer the Qualcomm 1600 dual mode CDMA/SAT phone which we overnight freight to anywhere in Australia.
The Qulacomm gives you the benefit of trying the cheaper CDMA system before switching to SAT mode.
The short term hire rate is $140.00 per week plus calls.
Longer term discounts apply.

Bware, Hi there,

Mt Dare have Qualcomm satphones for hire, pick up Birdsville, Maree or Mt Dare and then drop off at the other side of the Simpson. Depends which way you are going. Cost is $29.00 a day for a minimum of 4 days (usual desert crossing time 3-4 days) with call charges extra.
They can be booked by ringing Dave at Mt Dare 08 8670 7835.

Regardless may they have fun in the desert.
