HI, We are thinking about travelling up to
Cape York next April and was wondering if it was worth while - as it is still the wet season (
well the end of it anyway). Has anyone done a similar trip at the same time? Did you come across any problems with travelling at his time? we would love to hear what you thought?

Hi Paul & all !..No one can predict the weather up there can they?..In '89 we were booked with Guides To Adventure to leave
Cairns 1st May,got phone call 24th April to say Wenlock got 2 flash storms & running 20feet.We then left 23rd May & still had to build a raft of 44gl drums to take our eleven(11) rigs over plus lots of others. Two weeks later on our return,we still had to use the raft. But we loved it.I have full video(edited/titled) if you need it.(
Bridge over Wenlock now..Damm !)..Rgs Brian RockyOne (We had 1980 Diahatsu F50)
