Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone with a 3.0TD Patrol whi also has the ARB second battery kit installed can
check their smart solenoid for me. I have just installed a kit and have noticed that shaft of the solenoid is very hot, was wondering if this is normal before I go back to the
shop. Wiring is correctly installed etc.

Brendan, my 3.0 gu has an isolator from sure power industries never gets hot.

thanks for the reply, ran somemore tests today with a multimeter, solenoid is definitely not working properly. Back to to
shop!

i have duel batt set up on my gq solenoid gets very hot but hasnt let me down yet
