Was foggy all the way into work this morning, and it was so cold the moisture on the UHF and phone aerials froze. Sent the aerials off into a wild swinging action, at the same time flinging pieces on ice onto the windscreen.

Another 4by passed me and he had an aerial above his roofline and the swaying on his aerial was something to behold.

Make no mistake, that is the best sheep dog on the planet, real sneaky bugga he is, sneaks up on them like he belongs and then frightens the daylight out of them.

Yeah mate

3 months extreme cold
2 months extreme heat
7 months good weather

Now if we could just cull around 50 barking dogs in my neighbourhood and the 5000 a night wandering cats........it will be a beaut place to live in.....LOL

Same thing happened to me this morning between Wnagaratta and Albury on the Hume. Ice started to build up on the UHF arial, then it started to swing aroing like a mad dogs tail , and next thing I knew it had snapped off!
Suppose it serves me right for buying a fibre glass arial! - Ah well replaced it with a decent ss one from GME - hope that copes better with our current weather

Willem,
Maybe if you could cull about 4999 of the cats the dogs would sleep the night through.
Not to make an issue but we got down to 11 degrees this morning. A bit cool during the day though as it only got up to 23.
