Motor Traders in
Adelaide has some 35 litre Engel fridges advertised for sale for $799 new. Is this cheap. I hear they're a good fridge.

According to www.engelaustralia.com.au , RRP on the MT35F is $1099.00....
Olbis www.olbis.com.au (who are usually pretty hard to beat on price) currently have 'em for $979.00, so yeah, I'd say $799 is a pretty keen price by comparison...
I have a 29 litre Engel that I got 2nd-hand approx. 28 years ago, & it works as
well today as it ever has, so I'm gunna say "Yes, (IMO) they are a _very_ good 'fridge!"....

My (2nd-hand) Engel cost me $150 (from memory) approx. 28 years ago...
(apparently) they are said to sh$t 'emselves at around 30 yrs of age, so I guess by that reckoning I'll be up for a replacement in a coupla years time... (bugga!!)...
How much are these W a e c os again??
;-)))

I've got a CF18 now but its not big enough for longer trips as 18 litres ain't much room. It's been OK (got it second hand as part of the deal when i bought an 80 series a few years ago) but I like to buy Australian if possible. I suppose even Engel's are made in China now. Thanks anyway, I'll
check further.
Regards.......
