Just got back yesterday, towed a 17 ft boat up and it made it there and back OK. A few bad corrigated sections, and one bad ish boghole on the way p, which had a bit of a repair job done on it on the way back.

3 big red emperor from 10 to 12 pounds, and a 14 pound cod in the first 2 hours, then sharks, sharks and more bloody sharks for 3 days, should have been selling the fins to the indonesians!

great place, too many people (no offence to our fellow campers who were all very nice people). Next time will try to beat the grey nomads out there, or go a bit later in the season....bit hot then though!

Cheers andrew

Aussie Traveller,

www.thelastfrontier.com.au will give you the website of the Wyndham Shire Council. Click on News and it will lead you to current road conditions.

We'll be up there mid to late August. Hope you have a good trip.
