Hi,
I'm in the market for a roof rack for my car. I'm specifically after one that won't howl over 80km/h. Does anyone know of any quiet roof racks?
Han.

I found a big difference is how you mount it.
Take it off when empty and it doesn't make any noise at all.
Only 5 minutes work.
Having the tarp top and bottom also means the breeze doesn't whistle aroud the bars.
My old one (20 year old EDS) I mount it so the front is behind the projected line of the windscreen, works
well that way.

I started with bars but now have a full basket which I consider the best on the market.
Its low profile, alloy (light), can be moved to another 4by, strong, great attachments, and more versatile than straight bars.
Check with Opposite Lock.
Nope, I don't work for anyone ........just answering the Q.

Are you referring to a Thule/Rhino set-up with basket? Can't quite make out your picture and the Opposite Lock site isn't the clearest picture wise.
Cheers,
Mark.

"No" is the answer to your question.
I found this link to OL. It gives a good
pic when you scroll down.
Last year I made a simple adaption and we carried a roof top tinnie from Syd all the way across the Gulf country &
Darwin plus an Oz tent on top as
well. The whole arrangement was perfect and trouble free.
Ask any questions you need & if your in Syd come and have a look.
