"The 'Bidgee From Behind the Lens" Photographic Competition

The Murrumbidgee Catchment Management Authority is calling all photographers to dust off their camera lenses and get snap-happy for The Bidgee From Behind the Lens photographic competition.

The competition is open to anyone with an eye for capturing our diverse and beautiful Murrumbidgee catchment through photography.

A $250 cash prize will be awarded to the winner of each category and $100 for runner-up.

Categories include:
“Bidgee Biodiversity” Healthy eco-systems such a wetlands, rivers, native flora and fauna

“Caring for our Catchment” Community living in, and caring for the future of the Murrumbidgee

“Landscapes” Picturesque landscapes of the Murrumbidgee Catchment

“A Sustainable Future” Sustainable farming practices ensuring the preservation of the Murrumbidgee’s natural resources

Entries Close July 7th 2006 at 5pm.

The winner and runner-up in each category will have their photos displayed at the Regional Landcare Awards, hosted by the Murrumbidgee CMA in September 2006.
