Yeah Bloke that's easy, just bolt a 454 into your thingo.

Ya ain't never gunna make it sound like a MASSIVE V8 (unless ya go with the 454 idea),

but 'stractors & a 3" straight-through 'zorst should give ya that
"really throaty and just VOOOOOOOOMMMMMM sorrta thing" ;-))))))

Is it legal??? .. Prob'ly not, but that's your worry, right??

I've got extractors and 2" system on mine and it used to make a real throaty noise

until i put a "big as possible" stainless steel muffler to quieten it down and then later a resonator to try and make it even more quiet.

the occasional "burble" used to be fun but i also like to be able to carry on a conversation at highway speeds...thus the mufflers.

My FJ80 petrol has extractors and a 2 1/2 inch exhaust with a sports muffler, it sounds really nice with a sweet burble and a V8'ish sound. Problem is the lack of space between the chassis and the body for the bigger piping. Has been a problem over long corrugated roads.
