Have been offered a 96 Ford Courier diesel twin cab 4 x 4 5speed. Anyone out there any information re the diesel motors on these.

Its the same as the current 2.5 diesel but without the turbo and balance shafts. It is reliable but rather gutless, also the one I had needed 3500rpm to do 110kph !

I seem to remember not as good as I expected, around 11 to 12 per 100 km,
mine was a single cab tray back so was probably heavier and less aerodynamic than a dual cab.
