Could anyone tell me what the condition of the bush and tracks is around the upper Buckland Valley, is it recovering after the 03 fires etc, have the animals and birds returned? Looking at camping at Beveridge Station, is this private property?
Cheers.

Camped there last weekend and had a great time. Beveridges is quite green and good for camping and if you are lucky you will find quite a bit of wood we left cut up. We did the Paddy
Hill track (off Clear creek) which the bulldozer has been over recently and also across from Beveridges up to the heliport. Great
views of Hotham Village but expect snow at that level. It was -7 degrees overnight so expect similar overnight temps. Cheers

Leigh,
Has there been any rain in that area, are mud tyres needed. All other areas I have been are still dry.

Hi Moosey. No need to wear the muddies, it's quite dry and all tracks were in the easy range. Have fun!!
