Such a shame. I stayed in the camping ground last October for $5 (including showers) and it was beautifully quiet.

... and it leaves the campground without any managers

... and it leaves the Yalata Protected Area without any rangers because they have nowhere to live

... and it leaves the beach campsites which frequently get booked out without anybody to manage them - arrange permits, allow people in, pick up the rubbish, etc.

I wish I knew who was making a fuss over the roadhouse lease ...

complicated issues probably exacerbated by a new community council and management.

Oh well ...
