Hi, again ..............
Am currently seeking a 5th Gear/Overdrive for a petrol FJ 45.
If any member/visitor can help ........... vehicle is currently 'on tour" but will be
home to Charters Towers QLD in approx. 2/3 weeks.

Hi Pedro,
Try Mark's 4wd Adaptors in
Melbourne.
I know he developed an overdrive for later cruisers.
Also do a Google for Fairey
Winches. They mad the Landrover units and I believe did make them for Landcruisers as
well.
There's a third outfit I can't for the life of me remember the name.
Geoff.

Grey hair is hereditary, you get it from children. Baldness is caused by watching the Wallabies.

Much easier to get a later 5 speed box and transfer out of a later vehicle.
If you wish to retain the transmission mounted handbrake then the rear extension housing can be swapped between the two transfers as long as the ages are similar.
Alternatively you can get the rear axle assembly to go with the transfer case with the handbrake.
