Has anyone stayed at the
Lake King Caravan Park? We are considering a stopover here and thought I'd find out if anyone has had any good/bad experiences.

We've stayed overnight at the
Lake King Caravan Park on 2 occasions when travelling east via the Lake King/
Esperance Road. Last time we stayed there was in 2003.
It's a small caravan park and we found the amenities to be
well looked after and clean.
From memory it cost us about $11 (for 2 people) overnight, including power but that could have changed since then.

No i haven't - and i may be wrong, but it may be just the backyard of the pub come servo. We stayed in the bush behind a
parking area half way between
Lake King and
Newdegate near the Lake Varley road. Nice if you like
bush camping, and we were travelling west.

You are wrong :) .. it is a self contained, standalone caravan park.
When we last stopped there in 2003, the manager lived a couple streets away in the townsite.

Ta Neil & Lynne - i wasn't sure (and didn't see your post which came in while i was typing
mine), but it looked like camper vans behind the pub when we went to the fuel station there. Is it on the south side of the road?
