Hi look at autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/90series/ dozens of Prados with 265X75X16 tyres on. I have them on my Prado . Some makes of tyres are bigger than others ,Sounds odd but there can be 10-15 mm diam difference ,same size different makes. Most fit ok some just rub on the front mud flaps as you turn the wheel left or right. Not a big problem if you bend the mud flap brackets back 1/2" easy to do. You will find the speedo is now (right) was always slow before. You may also have to brake a bit harder to stop the bigger wheels but you get used to this very quick and dont notice it any more. The 75 series tyre is much stronger more puncture resistant and a lot better tyre off road than the 70 series(car) tyres

Hi I have Kelly MSR tyres at the moment (at 810mm diam new) these have been really good for the kind of off road I do.(cant get them anymore would buy some more tommorow).I have had Cooper ST (at 806mm dia new) these were good on road tyres but off road in deep gullies, rocks ect tore the edges off the tyres. The AT is 803mm diam .The STT is 813mm diam .I have also used BFG (805mm diam new) The OLD BFG tyres were good the new ones have no sidewalls, punctures all the time ,on my car anyway.depends on how and were you drive.Any of the tyres you have looked at should fit ok my kelly 810 mm just touched when new but not now ,half worn. Some Parado owners have used 285X75X16 on the Prado site. These must rub everywere in my opinion. You can see what I ment about the tyres all been 265X75X16 but are all different sizes

Thanks I did also consider the pirelli AT but by what i have gathered on this forum it sounds like they wear really quickly. I am starting to lean towards the bfg's
