ironman winch

hi everyone ....anyone had any experiance with ironman winches ??thinking of warn but have been offered a ironman real cheap ..want to know if im wasting my money

They are a Chinese winch which may have been modified to Ironman's specs.

I recently bought the Terrain Tamer 9500lb version - it will take some time to know whether these winches will be tomorrows trash. Terrain Tamer tell me that their gears have been upgraded. I guess I'll find out what they are like with time. I'm unlikely to use mine in a critical situation. I bought it so I could learn a bit about winching. Also, I've had some friends with Warn winches that have failed them, but a lot seems to depend on the quality of installation and maintenance. Also its got a 2 year warranty here in Adelaide.
