A diesel powered car won the prestigious Le Mans 24 hr race. The Audi R10 is powered by a V12 485kW 1100Nm engine (now that WOULD pull the skin off a rice pudding).
Shell put in squillions of dollars to develop a diesel fuel suitable- not what you get out of the bowsers at the local servo.
Contrary to popular beliefs, the car was NOT fitted with a f i t c h device!!!!

Not quite, I'm hanging on for grim death. Nooo...don't wanna go ........NOT.
Off on Sat morning, will certainly be on
Adelaide base far too many times. Remind me who you are when you get a shift, I'll be in holiday mode so won't remember who I am, never mind you :)))))

Yeh,
I was thinking of entering my GQ in next year's race, though it would cost a bit to get it over there!
