I'd be grateful for advice from anyone who has been driving on the Eastern beach of North Straddie with regards to how long either side of high tide the beach is not driveable currently.

I understand that there are some areas where the beach has been washed out such the tide is up higher in these areas than would otherwise be expected.

Cheers

can't comment on recent times but I was there about 12 months ago and you could not drive around 2 hours before high tide in some areas

Right down the southern end its pretty close to the dunes even at low tide (tides vary in height) .This will only worry you if you want to throw a line in at the pin and you havnt checked the tide times . Its recommended to drive 2 hours either side of low tide .
