that's right ... pay attention all you computer nerds/nerdettes
it's not really a 4x4 question .. but i guess i do listen to these cd's when i'm driving my 4wd so here we go >

I have copied some audio (music) cd's onto my hard drive, but when I try to use Nero (burning program) to burn the fies to a new cd, the computer disagrees with me because they are a " .cda " file .... when i assume they should be a " .mp3 " file?

anyone got any clues on how i either change the file types ?.. or possibly use another program to burn the new cd's?

I have media player 9 so once you fired the program up go up to file and import to library that will take a couple of min depending on how many songs and albums you have. Once that is done open the media library and find the album you want and select all the files on the right and then right click and say copy to cd or device. You will see another tab on the right "copy to cd or device" go in there and it will show you the songs you have added. There is a button on the right I think for copy.

Good luck

Plenty of free music file converters on the net ,do a Google search... they take minutes to down load even on my old dial up system...just open a file then ..save as...wav ,mp3 , whatever you like..cheers
